FAQs


Is the Festival of Frights Scream Park suitable for children?
Festival of Frights Scream Park is advised for children 12yrs and over at parents discretion. Those aged 16yrs and under must be accompanied by an adult of 18yrs or over. Our Attractions will be too frightening for younger guests. A Separate event called "Monster Mash', for families and children under 12 will be open again in 2019.

What type of clothing and footwear should I wear?
This attraction runs in October therefore clothes suitable for the weather should be worn. Comfortable flat shoes are strongly advised. ‘Best clothes’ and ‘High heels’ are not appropriate. This is partly an outdoor event so we can’t guarantee you won’t get dirty. We will not compensate for any damage to clothing which may occur while on site or in any of our attractions. Some of the attractions may require you to kneel down or crawl through small spaces.


Are there refreshments?

Yes, hot food and a bar will be available on the night. If you have any dietary requirements please ask before any purchase


Are there toilet facilities on site?
Yes


Do any of your attractions contain strobe lighting, smoke machines and loud noises?
Yes all of our attractions contain at least one of these elements. If you are sensitive to these conditions or suffer from photosensitive epilepsy this may not be the right environment for you. Those who suffer from claustrophobia, have heart conditions, have a nervous disposition or are pregnant are not recommended to enter.


Can I get a refund on my ticket if I don’t go in to an attraction, lose my ticket or change my mind?
No all tickets are non-refundable or transferable under any circumstance. This includes adverse weather conditions.


Does the event feature live actors?
Yes, our festival is completely immersive and features live actors throughout. Roaming live actors also feature in our Scare Zones.  


Will the actors touch me during the experience?
They may touch you if they’re so inclined but please DON’T touch them! By purchasing a ticket and entering our attractions you agree to comply with the rules laid out in our safety guide. Anyone showing violent or verbal abusive behaviour towards any actor or member of our team will be removed from the park. This includes people who may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. You will not be entitled to a refund.


Are the attractions outside?
A. Yes, this is an outdoor event. Our mazes are all fully undercover and the scare zones are partially undercover.


Will the attractions run in the event of bad weather?
Yes but we reserve the right to make changes as appropriate.


What time does the event start and finish?
The park opens at 6.30pm and closes at 11.00pm. Last admission to the park will be 10pm. Earliest attraction closing times will depend on demand. Please visit our facebook page for regular updates.


Can I leave my bag with a staff member? Do you carry out bag checks?
There is no facility for bag storage. Bag checks will be carried out when you arrive. We do however strongly advise that big bags and rucksacks are not bought onto the site. Due to the nature of our attractions it may be difficult for you to manoeuvre your way around will big bags in tow!

 

I’m not very mobile due to my disability or injury will you be able to accommodate my needs?

Due to the nature of the event the majority of our attractions may not be fully accessible or suitable. We would advise you contact a member of our team before booking.

Attraction Closures. 

Eerie Dawn reserves the right to change any of its line up and close attractions without prior notice. No refunds will be given due to any closures/changes.


Do you have designated First Aiders onsite?

Yes, we have a first aid team onsite. Should you require assistance please contact your nearest Eerie Dawn Team member and they will be able to assist you.

Please follow our safety guidelines at all times when entering our park and when entering any of our attractions. We cannot accept any responsibility to those who do not follow the onsite rules which may lead to personal injury.

Is there parking on site?
Yes, we have FREE parking onsite and across the road. There is also on road parking. May we ask that you are considerate of local residents when parking your vehicle. 


How do I get to you?
 


Can I smoke?
Please refer to park guide for designated smoking area. You CANNOT smoke in queue lines or inside attractions or anywhere other than the smoking area. This includes the use of e-cigarettes.


Drugs and alcohol may not be brought onto the site. You may however purchase alcohol from the onsite licensed bar. Anyone found bringing or using drugs onsite will be removed immediately and the police called.
